<h3 id="my-first-ever-blog">My First Ever Blog</h3>
<p>This is my first ever blog and to introduce myself, I am a professional accountant. Why is an accountant and a person who has spent whole of his career in the labyrinths of audit, ledgers, debits / credits, financial statements, regulatory compliance starting a developer blog? 
I am not a developer as of yet. But i know one thing, I am in love with programming and coding. 
I attended this training program on Blockchain last year and the trainer introduced me to linux OS which I never knew existed and a whole new world opened up for me. I wanted to introduce my 4 year old kid to computers. I read more about linux and came across edubuntu (which unfortunately was discontinued) and scratch (of course, scratch is not linux dependent). But I loved the thought of an operating system where we had the freedom to configure the system any way we want. 
After some reading, you tube videos and google research, I quickly converted by 2010 Macbook pro to a linux machine. I loved the learning curve involved in installing and configuring the system.
The macbook pro now belongs to him with xubuntu and he does basic stuff like starting, taking what we wants (Gcompris!!!) . Also taught him two terminal commands <code>sudo apt update</code> and <code>sudo apt upgrade</code>. He learns and I learn too.
