I love studying, I want to learn something new. But the sheer volume of resources and the number of courses is mind boggling. It is almost impossible to select the best course.

I found reddit to be a good source of resources if you know where to look or if something pops up when you scroll down your news feeds. I found a lot of resources or links to resources in reddit which was very handy.
Stay Focused
Another issue is to be focused and do one or two courses at a time. Its easy to flit around different courses and then not finish any one of them. So staying focused one one or two courses is very important. 
Be Patient
An important part in completing any course is to be patient. It takes time to understand a new concept and several days of soul searching to understand a tough concept. Algorithms and data structures come to mind. 
 New You
Learning a new subject changes you and I heard it creates new neurons in your brain in place of the old ones and you feel like a new person. This is true and I am going through it right now.
Last but not the least, in this age of tumultuous and faster changes, it is important to keep ourselves sharp and updated.
